Families like Ellie’s need your help to stay strong
Ellie was just four years old, a happy, bright little girl. Then one day, she woke up screaming in pain. Her frightened parents rushed her to the hospital for tests. Four days later came news every parent dreads.. Little Ellie was diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma – a rare and aggressive form of cancer.
Brave Ellie went through surgeries, chemotherapy and 23 rounds of radiation. Mum and Dad were with her every step of the way. They were terrified. They were exhausted. But they needed to stay strong for their little girl.
With help from people like you, Ronald McDonald House South East Queensland provided them with a place where they could do just that.
